The Ultimate Book Lover’s Gift Guide

I don’t know about you, but finding good gifts for loved ones is kind of a struggle for me. I’m always trying to ensure that I pick something that I know is perfect for them. Sometimes, this leads to hours of scrolling through Etsy or ambling around the shopping mall.

If you have someone in your life who is a book lover, however, then fear no more! This is The Ultimate Book Lover’s Gift Guide, and you’re sure to find something that’s perfect for that upcoming birthday or party.

  1. Bookmarks

Trust me, a good old-fashioned bookmark will always be appreciated. There’s such a vast variety of them nowadays: magnetic, copper, paper, and even felt! Another great thing about bookmarks is that they’re usually pretty cheap, so they’re budget-friendly while still remaining thoughtful. Here are a few of my personal favorites, all from Etsy:

Personalized Leather Bookmark from moregifts2020

Silly Goose Bookmark from CuppaSeriously

Personalized Embroidered Felt Bookmark from shelley01shop

  1. Book Decision Coin

Someone gifted me this coin about a year ago, and I use it all the time now. This is perfect for anyone you know who stays up late to finish “one more chapter.” With this coin, they’re bound to have a fun time choosing between reading more or getting some much needed beauty sleep. I just think this is such a creative and unique gift, and I can’t stop recommending it! Here’s the link to the one in the image.

  1. Remote Kindle Clicker

Obviously, check if this person has a Kindle or an E-reader before getting this super cool remote Kindle clicker. Every bookworm I know has one dream: no more extracting our hands out of our cozy blanket to move to the next page. This gift allows the recipient to stay in that bubble of comfort, and they’ll be thanking you over and over again for it.

  1. Tote Bag

Tote bags seem to be all the rage nowadays; they’re eco-friendly, functional, and super cute. Get your book-loving friend a book-themed one! Of course, there are so many out there, so I recommend scrolling through Out of Print’s selection. This brand has almost everything, including Emily Henry themed totes. Here’s the link to one that my friend so graciously gifted me.

  1. DIY Book Nook Kit

For anyone who has not a friend that not only loves books but also being creative, this gift masterfully blends those two interests. With a DIY Book Nook Kit, you get to put together your own little book nook for your library. While this gift is definitely not as budget-friendly as the bookmarks or even the book decision coin, I still think it’s worth including because of how distinctive it is. Here’s the link to the one in the image.

  1. Book Embosser

Book embosser’s are bound to make anyone feel fancy and very special. It’s a charming way for someone to put their own mark on a story they love. Personally, I think that they just ooze elegance and charm. I also recommend book stamps, which are pretty similar to embossers! Here’s the link to the one in the image.

  1. Jewelry

Book-themed earrings, necklaces, bracelets, and rings–the internet has it all! Jewelry can always be a bit of a risk, but I think it’s one worth taking. Some of my favorite gifts have been jewelry; I once received a stunning pair of earrings that said “Read more books.” I’ve even received a pair of earrings in the shape of books, and I love wearing them. Jewelry is a subtle yet beautiful way for book lovers to display their pride in their hobby. Here are a few of my personal favorites:

Fig Leaf Earrings from Once Upon a Book Club

Fantasy Earring Set from The Bookish Shop

Recycled Book Page Earrings from DucksFlyTogether

  1. Mugs

Many readers like to sip on a beverage as they delve into the pages of their favorite story. So, why not get them a book-themed mug for their tea or coffee? In fact, I have one such mug that has the shelves of a library with little cats nestled in the corners painted on it. Seeing the design always gives me such joy. Here’s another mug that I really like.

  1. Thumb Page Holder

If I’ve been reading for hours, my hand starts to cramp from holding my book open for so long. Honestly, it annoys me, because all I want to do is enjoy the story! For anyone in your life who has voiced similar complaints, this thumb book holder from Etsy is perfect. Now, they can read for as long as they want with ease.

I hope that this guide proved useful, and that you found something for a loved one (or even just for yourself)! Let me know what you thought of this compilation.

Until next time,

H.
